Buckwheat with stew

Ingredients:

Buckwheat – 2 cups

Stew – 1 can or homemade

Carrot

Onion

Salt/pepper/greens/ any spices to taste

Chop carrot and onion. Put olive oil into tajine and fry onion and carrot until golden brown. Add salt and pepper to taste.

When onions and carrots are done add stew and cook it for 10 minutes. I have a stew that I cooked by myself from deer meat. You can take any stew that you like.

After 10 minutes add buckwheat and mix well.

Close the lid of tajin and put it on the stow on the lowest temperature. If you don’t have enough liquid add 1/2 or 1 cup of water. All process of cooking under the lid will take around 20-25 minutes.

After 10 minutes check the dish and make sure that there is enough water. Don’t mix before the dish will be done. Than open the lid and mix.

Put your favorite greens on the top and some spices. I prefer green onion and a pinch of paprika. Serve that dish with hard drinks like whiskey or vodka. Bon Appetite!
