Pork is the most versatile meat. It can be marinated, roasted, grilled, skewered, dry rubbed, boiled, baked, barbecued, microwaved, pan-fried or stir-fried.

Salt and pepper the pork chops to taste.
Put the onions in the ovenproof dish and add olive oil.
Put the pork chops on top of the onions and cook on low for 1 hour and then open the lid.
Continue cooking for additional 1 hour 30 minutes on low heat.
