Very simple mushroom soup.
- Dried Mushrooms
- Pearl barley
Put the dried mushrooms in a Bowl.
Pour boiling water and let sit for 40.
Put the barley in a Bowl.
Pour boiling water into barley and let sit for 40 minutes.
Cook chicken stock.
After 10 minutes, add the mushrooms. And reduce the temperature to low.
Dried mushrooms should be cooked for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the potatoes to medium cubes.
Add the potatoes to the soup.
Barley should become soft by this time.
Cut Onion into medium pieces.
Fry onions in a Skillet until golden brown.
Add onions to the soup.
Cook the soup for another 10 minutes.
Remove chicken meat from pot.
Separate the meat from the bones.
Add the meat to the soup. Stir and serve!
Greens and sour cream optional.
